Storytime Registration

Thank you for being so interested in storytime registration here at Parkland Community Library. We are excited to continue offering our popular storytime programs for our patrons!

Due to high demand, drop-in storytimes are for LCLC and My First Library (Share) cardholders living in Parkland School District or paying non-residents.

No card?

Sign up at the front desk or online here.

Note: Toddler Tales will not be held on March 19, 2024.

Sessions and New Ticketing System for Drop-in Storytimes Baby Time & Preschool:

Families may choose 1 storytime per day.

Both sessions are the same.

We have two classes to meet demand. Please request a ticket at the youth services desk. Red tickets are for 10am, and Orange tickets are for 10:45am.

**** Once the Event Full sign is on the door, attendees must wait for the 10:45am session. After each session, staff will clear the room to allow those waiting to participate. Please exit the room after the session.

PCL must follow the fire code. Room capacity limits will be strictly enforced.

Toddler Tales will be held on a first-come, first-served basis in the Carol & Perry Zirkel Meeting Rooms.
The same rules apply. One session per cardholder. Please exit the room after the session.

Thank you for being so cooperative.

Some Storytimes require RSVP.

Songs, rhymes, and read-aloud stories for the whole family.

Toddler Tales (18 months-3 1/2 years):

Stories, rhymes, music & movement.

Preschool Storytime (Ages 3-5):

It is best suited for children ages 3-5 who no longer put things in their mouths and have not yet started kindergarten: Preschool stories, rhymes, and songs. Each week will also include a hands-on activity or craft.

Sessions

Currently, all programs are reserved for residents of the Parkland School District and Parkland Community Library cardholders.
