About Our Guests

  • IKEA, a fluffy golden retriever, retired from Seeing Eye in 2020 after guiding her blind person for 10 years. Ikea came back to live with her puppy raisers and is now a vivacious 14 year enjoying life as a pet. But, she still enjoys working “part-time” by doing community outreach visits like the Parkland Library.
  • FELIX, a handsome black lab, is a retired breeder for The Seeing Eye and has sired over 50 pups during his breeding service. He is back home living with his puppy raising family, who is also raising one of his daughters, named Filly. Filly is currently in quarantine at home because she is returning to The Seeing Eye for her formal training in two weeks.
  • TRESSA, a sweet German shepherd, is a current Seeing Eye puppy in early training. Living with her puppy raising family and practicing house manners, socialization skills, and commands she’ll need to know when she returns to The Seeing Eye for her formal training.
  • VAIL, a cute and cuddly yellow lab, is also a current puppy in training and enjoys a fast paced environment with his puppy raising family, going to ball games and hockey games, and so many other amazing places.
