We can’t wait to see the fruits of your labor and the beauty that blooms in your garden. Please keep in mind that extra product can be dropped off at the library during our Plant a Row Donation Collection period.

Exciting news – we have expanded our selection to include herbs and wildflowers! Fresh herbs can flavor your dishes, while wildflowers can bring beauty and pollinators to your outdoor space.
Whether you’re an experienced gardener or just starting, the Seed Library has something for everyone. Mix and match your seed packets to create a garden that suits your preferences and tastes. We have various seeds, from root vegetables to vines, herbs, and wildflowers. Happy gardening!
2026 Seed Library Checkout
- Choose any three types of seeds from the collection.
- Bulk seeds: please take only FIVE seeds of each type. Envelopes and pens are available for you to label your three packages.
- Please bring your selections up to the circulation desk to “check out.”
*Staff are available to help if you need assistance. Remember, quantities are limited, so stop soon to get yours.
Support Plant a Row of the Lehigh Valley
The Parkland Community Library has a continued partnership for 2026. If your garden yields more than you can use, we warmly invite you to share your excess produce with us. Simply bring it to the designated cooler at the library on Wednesdays and Thursdays starting in June. Your generosity will surely brighten someone’s day! More about Plant A Row below.

Throughout the growing season, items will be added through generous donations. Check back regularly to see how you can update your garden.
Accepting Donations
If you’d like to contribute to the seed library, there are a couple of ways you can help. You can donate gift cards to the library to purchase more seeds or drop off extra unopened seed packets you may have left over from your previous gardening endeavors.

The History
PCL established the Seed Library in 2024 with a starter donation from Sow Right Seeds. Burpee restocked it with seed packets of plants local to our area for the growing season.

We’re excited to welcome patrons of all ages back for another season of growing, sharing, and learning. We joyfully celebrated the Seed Library’s return in 2026 with a lovely gathering featuring a fantastic program, including a presentation by Dedko’s Bees! Everyone enjoyed learning about helpful insects, creating habitats, and finding ways to protect our environment.
Renewing Our Partnership
With Plant A Row Lehigh Valley
Starting in June, you can drop off your extra produce at the library once a week. Plant A Row Lehigh Valley will pick it up and distribute it to area residents in need. Look for more details in the summer!
We are looking forward to our third year of participation in this partnership.
