Children
(Ages 0-5, 6-11)

We are excited to welcome all families to the Summer Reading Club 2024! Remember to grab your goody bag while supplies last.

Children can spin the prize wheel every two hours they log reading (120 minutes). Each spin is a chance to win some awesome prizes.

Early literacy activities are available for children ages 0-5. We hope you have a fantastic time participating in the club!

Keep track of reading with easy-to-use Beanstack!

Teens (6th-12th grade)

Teens are always welcome at the library!

The library offers independence, excitement, identity, and acceptance. We guarantee the confidentiality of your usage and encourage teens to explore all the subjects, hot topics, and genres with privacy. Librarians are on hand to instruct teens on how to use library resources independently.

PCL offers volunteer opportunities. We allow teens chances to assert their independence.

Try out free programs and classes just for teens. We welcome feedback and suggestions for new events. Reading can help teens to discover possible futures for themselves. Therefore, our new Teen Advisory Board can help teens thoroughly explore their potential. Additionally, programs allowing teens to share their interests with others can strengthen their self-esteem and allow them to explore other possibilities.

Dive into captivating stories, explore new genres, and connect with the community by attending various programs. At your library, we believe in the power of reading and its impact on all generations. For children, reading opens doors to new worlds, sparks their imagination, and helps them develop important communication and storytelling skills. Even before they can read and write, children can immerse themselves in the magic of letters, learning the foundations of literacy that will shape their future.
