Wednesday, October 12, 4:30–5:30pm

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at PCL!

Get professional working experience and community service hours for your resume! We accept mature students entering 8th grade in the fall age 13 and older.

Each year, PCL offers seasonal volunteer positions. Volunteer positions are an opportunity for you to support the library community, and to gain experience working in a professional environment. The teen volunteer program can be listed on college resumes and counted as community service hours for school, religious organizations, scouts, etc.

For questions about the program, email Teen Services at teens@parklandlibrary.org

Become a volunteer in two easy steps.

1) Download and fill out the digital application.

2) Email teens@parklandlibrary.org or drop off your application to the library.

*Previous teen volunteers must fill out a new application.

A Note From the Friends of PCL

All PCL teen volunteers, Friends volunteers, and all graduating high school seniors that are continuing their educational pursuits, may apply for the Friends Scholarship in Honor of Alice Madden and Norm Dietrich. The scholarship is also open to library staff who are furthering their education as well.

Teen volunteers can apply for The Friends annual scholarship!
