Teen Volunteers
New for 2024: PCL’s Teen Volunteer Program is now year-round!
We appreciate your interest in volunteering at PCL!
We are excited to announce that our teen volunteer program at the library is now available year-round. This is a fantastic opportunity for young individuals to gain professional work experience while earning valuable community service hours that can be added to their resumes. Teens can develop essential skills such as communication, organization, and teamwork by participating in this program.
Our teen volunteers play a vital role in helping with various tasks at the library, including shelving books, assisting with library programs, and providing customer service to patrons. This program benefits the library by providing much-needed support and allows teens to impact their community positively.
If you or someone you know is interested in becoming a teen volunteer at the library, please get in touch with us for more information on how to get involved. We look forward to welcoming new volunteers to our team and working to promote literacy and lifelong learning in our community.
Teen volunteer positions are for ages 13 to 17. Volunteers 18 and older must complete the adult volunteer applications and get clearances per state law. Information is available on our main Volunteer page here.
