About the Lehigh Carbon Library Cooperative
The Parkland Community Library has joined local libraries to form the Lehigh Carbon Library Cooperative (LCLC)! We all share one library card and catalog, expanding the collection to over 550,000 items. If there is a book, DVD, or item you seek that is not in our collection, odds are that one of our partner libraries has it. Place a hold, and pick it up at your chosen library! Download the list of LCLC Libraries here.
Parkland Community Library and the LCLC are now Free! Read more about it in our News here.

3 Clicks to Access Over 550,000 Items
In 2018, the members of the LCLC migrated to a new public catalog system called SPARK. Thanks to SPARK’s functionality, all the cooperative’s collections were combined, giving you access to over half a million items!
To find items within the entire LCLC collection, you must first navigate to our catalog and type what you’re looking for into the search box. Then, to the right of the search box, click on the Library dropdown menu, click “Lehigh Carbon Library Cooperative” from the top of the list, and click the “Search” button. Three clicks! It’s that easy!
PCL has created a comprehensive guide to cataloging. Learn more about Cataloging 101 in the library’s News here.
