Thank you for being so interested in storytime at Parkland Community Library. We are excited to continue offering our popular programs! Storytime sessions typically run for 7-8 weeks, depending on the season. There are short breaks after every season. This page has a complete list by age.

All storytimes will require RSVP.

Due to overcrowding, we can no longer accommodate drop-ins. Storytimes are reserved for cardholders in the Parkland School District or paying non-residents.

Due to high demand, storytimes are for LCLC and My First Library (Share) cardholders living in Parkland School District or paying non-residents.

Parking for Storytimes

Parking is available behind and in the side lot of the library. Please enter and exit the campus by way of Walbert Ave.

The gated road is for emergency vehicles only.

Parking is NOT permitted at the South Whitehall Township lots during library events.

Safety is crucial to everyone.

We are excited to have so many guests!

Caregivers, please discourage excessive screaming, running inside the library, horseplay, shoving, and throwing objects that are not part of the activity.

If guests are ill, please select another date to attend a library program.

Please exit the room after your program.

For those who wish to enjoy the library further with their storytime friends and family, the Barclay Family Children’s Wing has window seating and play areas.

Mondays: Baby Storytime

Prewalkers with an adult caregiver.

Tummy time, lap-sit, standing, beginner cognitive and motor skills

*If your child can run, select a Toddler Storytime for the safety of infant attendees.

Thursdays: Preschool Storytime

This program is best suited for children ages 3-5 who no longer put things in their mouths and have not yet started kindergarten.

Caregivers will assist with an activity or a craft.

Fridays: Toddler Storytime

This storytime is best suited for Walkers-Age 3 years old with a caregiver.

Enjoy toddler stories, rhymes, music, and movement with Ms. Audrey and her ukulele!

Family Music Storytime

Yoga Storytime: Ages 3-8.

Baby Massage Storytime: babies 8 weeks through crawling.

Baby Yoga: babies 8 weeks through crawling.
