Thank you for being so interested in storytime at Parkland Community Library. We are excited to continue offering our popular programs! Storytime sessions typically run for 7-8 weeks, depending on the season. There are short breaks after every season. This page has a complete list by age. Some storytimes require RSVP.
October 14-18: Storytime Break
Due to high demand, drop-in storytimes are for LCLC and My First Library (Share) cardholders living in Parkland School District or paying non-residents.

Parking for Storytimes
Parking is available behind and in the side lot of the library. Please enter and exit the campus by way of Walbert Ave.
The gated road is for emergency vehicles only.
Parking is NOT permitted at the South Whitehall Township lots during library events.
At PCL, we offer drop-in Storytimes by age group with a caregiver.
September 2024
Mondays: Baby Storytime- Newborns to walkers with an adult caregiver.
Thursdays: Preschool Storytime—This program is best suited for children ages 3-5 who no longer put things in their mouths and have not yet started kindergarten.
Fridays: Toddler Storytime-Toddler Tales is best suited for ages 1-3 years old with a caregiver.

Family Music Storytime
Yoga Storytime: Ages 3-8.
Baby Massage Storytime: babies 8 weeks through crawling.
Baby Yoga: babies 8 weeks through crawling.
Ticketing System for Drop-in Storytimes
Families may choose 1 storytime per day.
Both sessions are the same.
We have two classes to meet demand. Please request a ticket at the youth services desk. Red tickets are for the first session, and Orange tickets are for session 2.
**** Once the Event Full sign is on the door, attendees must wait for the second session.
PCL must follow the fire code. Room capacity limits will be strictly enforced.
After each session, staff will clear the room to allow those waiting to participate. Please exit the room after the session. Storytimes are held on a first-come, first-served basis.
